A first-floor apartment located on Zelinski St in Botanica district of Chisinau caught fire in the morning of May 30. Three persons were rushed to the hospital as a result, IPN reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the fire broke out at about 7am. When on the spot, the firemen evacuated three persons from the apartment – two men and a woman aged 31, 38 and 59. The fire was extinguished in about 20 minutes. It destroyed things inside a room with an area of 12 square meters.
The National Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance Center said two of the evacuated persons suffered serious burns, while the third was poisoned by fumes. The three were transported to the hospital after the ambulance doctors gave them first aid.
During the mission, an employee of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service suffered burns on the fingers of the left hand and was given first aid.
The circumstances and cause of fire are yet to be found out.
