The Supervisory Board of the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova” made public the list of candidates for the post of director of the public TV channel Moldova 1. Applications were submitted by Ecaterina Stratan, who is not the channels’ acting director, and journalists Sergiu Praporshchuk and George Iosip, IPN reports.
The candidate’s strategies for developing the public TV channel will be published on www.trm.md the coming days. The contest commission will convene afterward.
August 3 was the deadline for submissions. The post of Moldova 1 channel fell vacant after Mircea Surdu tendered his resignation on June 26 .
