Three MPs and mayor publish statements of income and property for 2007

The MPs Vlad Cubreacov, Valentina Serpul, Vitalia Pavlicenco and the mayor of Floresti town Iurie Tsap are another four dignitaries that accepted to fully publish their statements of income and property for 2007 as part of the campaign “Property in Sight”, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to campaign organisers, MP Vlad Cubreacov said that he has an apartment, an underground garage and an underground room in a building in downtown Chisinau. He also said that he and his family in 2007 earned 95,723.55 lei as remuneration for their work. Valentina Serpul said that her only income in 2007 was the salaries of MP that totalled 96,723.55 lei. Vitalia Pavlicenco declared only her incomes, saying that she did not manage to obtain information about the incomes of her husband, though the institutions where he worked had to provide the data by January 31. In 2007, the MP earned 90,555.91 lei as salaries. The mayor of Floresti included in the statement the incomes earned in 2007 and the property owned at present. Iurie Tsap said that he and his wife got 49,351.92 lei from their work and other 3,000 lei from other legal sources. Speaker Marian Lupu, Deputy Speaker Maria Postoico, the MPs Dumitru Braghis and Grigore Petrenco and Chisinau Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca made their statements of income and property public earlier. The “Property in Sight” campaign was launched by the anticorruption supplement “Obiectiv” (“Objective”) published by the Independent Press Association (API) and the Anticorruption Alliance.
