A 28-year-old man of foreign origin was arrested on suspicion that he threw his three-month old daughter out from the fourth floor. Owing to her injuries, the baby died. It happened in Buiucani district of Chisinau on Monday evening.
The police were notified by a passerby at about 9pm. This said that a baby was lying on the ground on Alba Iulia St. It was later determined that the girl was at home with her father who, for yet unknown reasons, threw her out.
Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati said that the mother wasn’t at home when the tragedy happened. Other details are not yet known. Legal action was taken over murder.
