Three men from Anenii Noi suspected of murder

Three men from Anenii Noi district aged between 19 and 45 were arrested on suspicion that they committed a murder in Puhaceni village. The victim is a 22-year-old man who was stabbed and set on fire and then buried in the garden of one of the suspects, IPN reports.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, the victim’s mother on October 20 informed the police that her son went missing on September 24. As a result of investigative measures, it was established that three inhabitants of Puhaceni drank alcoholic beverages together with the victim.

The police also established that the suspects and the victim took drugs. Earlier, the suspects were tried for hooliganism, rape, theft and causing of injuries. During searches at their homes, the police found marijuana.

It is alleged that the suspects stabbed the young man as a result of a conflict and then set fire to him and buried him in the garden of one of the three men. The bones found in the garden are to be examined.

The police said the three suspects admitted guilt and were placed under arrest for 30 days. The men face 15 to 20 years in jail or life for intentional murder.
