Three men face up to ten years in jail for smuggling toxic substances. As a result of searches carried out as part of the investigation, there were found 119 kg and 30 liters of toxic substances, IPN has learned from the Prosecutor General’s Office.
According to the police, the substances were purchased in the Ukrainian town Cernăuți and illegally brought to Moldova. Two of the suspects were apprehended when they were transmitting a consignment of phytosanitary products.
Three men were arrested and the prosecutors demanded remand detention for them.
