The bodies of three persons were found carbonized last night in a house that was destroyed by fire in Tomai village of Leova district. The police said the victims are a man aged 78, his 46-year-old daughter and her child aged 11.
Mayor of Tomai Valeriu Boişteanu has told IPN that the fire started from the stove that was allegedly damaged. The woman lived with her father and her youngest son. The elder children were away. One lives in Chisinau, while another one is abroad.
Valeriu Boişteanu said smoke detectors in Tomai village were installed within the nationwide campaign, not yet in the house that burned last night.
