Three people were killed and another person was critically injured in a head-on traffic accident near Floresti town on Friday. A spokesperson for the Traffic Police told Info-Prim Neo the accident was to blame on excessive speed and reckless driving. The accident occurred when a 44-year-old man driving an Audi-80 lost control of the vehicle and ended on the wrong side of the road, where he collided head-on with a Nissan Primera, driven by a 58-year-old man. Both drivers died instantly. The accident also killed a 34-year-old woman traveling in the Nissan. A 22-year-old man was admitted to the Floresti District Hospital with serious brain injuries. Also on Friday, two cars collided in Balti, causing serious head injuries to a 2-year-old boy. Six accidents were registered on Fiday. Three persons died and seven other were injured.
