Sheriff Tiraspol moved to 2nd place in the Moldovan championship after beating FC Tiraspol 3-2 on matchday 2, on Sunday, July 31, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Brazilian Henrique Luvannor opened the score for Sheriff. Balima and Tarhnishvili then joined him on the score sheet, while Vornisel and Nicologlo netted for FC Tiraspol.
In another game, Sfantul Gheorghe Suruceni drew at home with Iskra-Stal Ribnita. The guests were cruising 2-0 on 70 minutes, thanks to goals from Zacon and Gorodetchi, but the home side managed to level in the last 10 minutes through Bursuc and Sakey. The later now has 3 goals this season and is joint top scorer with Zimbru’s Oleg Molla.
