Three killed in serious road accident

Three women have died in a car crash this morning. The driver was rushed to the hospital in a serious condition.
Dan Chirita, senior inspector of the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened on the Brest – Chisinau – Odessa road, near Halahora de Sus village of Briceni district, at about 4.40.
The 38-year-old driver of a Peugeot tried to overtake a car and collided with a VAZ. The Peugeot was thrown off the roadway and it crashed into a tree.
The three female passengers died on the spot, while the driver was admitted to the hospital in Briceni in a critical condition.
