Three killed in road accident in Stefan Voda

Three young people died and one was hospitalized in a serious state as a result of a road accident that happened in Stefan Voda district on September 17. Reportedly, the car collided with a minibus and both of the vehicles skidded off the road.

Contacted by IPN, Inga Petrov, press office of the Stefan Voda Police Inspectorate, said the traffic accident occurred between the villages Slobozia and Rascaieti. The driver of the car lost control of the steering wheel and crashed the vehicle into a minibus. Consequently, the car caught fire. The 32-year-old driver and two passengers aged 26 and 36, who were brothers, died on the spot. All the three were from Antonesti village of Stefan Voda district.

The minibus driver was rushed to the hospital in a coma. He is aged 36 and is from Causeni.
