Three persons perished in a traffic accident near Stauceni village in the evening of May 31, IPN reports. The vehicle skid off the road and crashed violently into a tree, catching fire.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, two firefighting teams extinguished the fire, while an extrication team took the carbonized bodies out.
The police established that the victims were a man aged 30 from Criuleni district, who drove the car, and two 20-year-old passengers – a man and a woman. The young man was from Orhei, while the girl’s place of residence hasn’t been yet determined. Another passenger, who is also from Orhei, remained alive.
The preliminary examinations showed the car was speeding. The tree into which the vehicle ran broke into two. The car had a foreign license number.
