Three men suffered injuries in a road accident on Lunca Bacului St in Chisinau in the afternoon of October 20 and were hospitalized. The accident involved two vehicles – a Fiat and a VAZ, IPN reports.
Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati said the Fiat car was to give way to the other vehicle as it was moving on a minor road. As a result of the collision, the driver and two passengers of the Fiat were taken to the hospital. The driver of the VAZ car was given first aid on the spot.
Petru Cravet, spokesman for the Chisinau Emergency Medicine Institute, has told IPN that the men, aged between 23 and 28, suffered medium gravity injuries. One of them was affected more seriously as he sustained an open fracture of the left femur.
The driver to blame faces a fine of 1,000 lei and six penalty points.
