The National Library will host an exhibition dedicated to the relationship between Moldova and the European Union, from the signing of the 1994 Partnership and Cooperation Agreement until present, when the EU leaders have decided to initiate accession negotiations with our country. This event is part of the series of activities organized during Europe Days 2024 at the Library.
The exhibition includes publications on the Europeanization of the Republic of Moldova, the partnership between the European Union and the Republic of Moldova, the accession process to the European Union and focuses on anniversary events. Among them are 30 years since the signing of the EU-Moldova Partnership and Cooperation Agreement, 15 years of benefits within the Eastern Partnership, and 10 years of implementation of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement.
A special place is reserved for billboards reflecting EU assistance in figures and facts, as well as publications and informative materials offered by the EU Resource Center “Europe Café”.
The inauguration event of the anniversary exhibition “30 years of the path of the Republic of Moldova towards the European Union” will take place on May 8, at 11:00 a.m., in the Library’s main building.
