Three Baccalaureate sessions will be staged during an academic year, not two as until now. A law that introduces changes to this effect to the Education Code and the President’s decree on the promulgation of this law were published in the Official Gazette on January 4, IPN reports.

The candidates who will fail exams in the two ordinary examination sessions will be able to take the Baccalaureate exam once again. To take part in the third Baccalaureate session, the candidate will pay an exam tax set by the Government.

Within three months of the coming into force of the given law, the Government is to adjust its regulations to it.
