Three accidents, on 8 March in the capital, cause injuring of five persons

Three accidents that took place on 8 March, in municipality Chisinau, in similar conditions and almost at the same hour, led to injury of five persons and their hospitalisation.
The inspector of Road Security, Administrative Supervision and Public Relations Service of Chisinau Police, Ion Roscovanu, said that those three drivers, being drunk, lost the control of the car and hit in the obstacle. Thus, the car Mercedes-180, driven by a young man aged 28, of the town Durlesti, came up against an electric pillar on Calea Iesilor, at 23:20. The diver suffered the shank fracture, and the passenger aged 26 suffered the concussion of soft tissues.
At the same hour, a car VAZ-2109 hit an electric pillar on the street Petricani. The impact caused the break of bones of the pelvis of the driver aged 27 and wounds of the passenger’s face aged 23.
At 23:40 at the crossing of the street Sfatul Tarii-Alexandru cel Bun a Rover-414 with Balti numbers, driven by a young man aged 24 hit a concrete threshold. The driver suffered a concussion of soft tissues of the face and the passenger aged 27 suffered a cranial-cerebral contusion and breaking of bones of the shank.
Only a miracle, the doctor-coordinator of the Emergency Service of capital, Eufalia Negreata, has saved this morning three persons, at 7:20. Crossing the railway Floreni-Sangera, the driver did not ensured and the car was hit by the train were dragged dozens of meters. As result, the driver was only frightened, a passenger, aged 26, was injured, contusion of the chest and possibly of the vertebral column. The second passenger, aged 41, evinced kidney contusion.
After 20 minutes another accident, resulted with 3 victims, happened on the street Bacioii Noi. A Dacia-Logan car, taxi 1442, where were 2 passengers, aged 18 and 19, and a girl aged 17, turned over, injuring the youngsters, who suffered cranial-cerebral contusions. Ion Roscovanu noted that on of the young men, visiting his friend, taxi driver, who was slipping, took the keys of the car and together with his friends went for „a walk”. At the moment these 3 are in the hospital.
On 8 March, road inspectors registered 197 infringements of road rules, including 13 drunk drivers, 38 forbidden crossing of the street, 25 speed excess, 33 cases of outlawed manoeuvres, 10 cases of non-seat belts. Along the day, there happened 10 accidents without victims and 3 with 5 injured persons, according to police data.
