Public transport will be organized to the Forest Festival, which will take place on September 14 at the Presidential Residence in Condrița, directly from the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau. Buses will run to and from the venue of the event throughout the day, starting at 9:50 a.m., IPN reports.
Until 11.00 a.m., the units of transport will set off at intervals of 5-10 minutes. Later, the routes will be available every 30 minutes. The last route to Condrița will be at 06:00 p.m., while the last route to Chisinau – at 09:30 p.m.
The cost of a trip is 6 lei, and holders of season tickets for municipal public transport can use them for this route.
According to the organizers of the event, the participants who will have to come by car to the central square of Chisinau will be able to park the vehicles there. The places are intended primarily for cars coming from outside Chisinau. Participants from the capital city are encouraged to use public transport to make room for those who need parking more.
The participants in the event will visit exhibitions, workshops and interactive activities and will be involved in discussions with environmental protection experts. Recreation areas and fairs will be available.
The Forest Festival is organized by the Association of Environmental Journalists/Ecopresa and BIOTICA Ecological Society, with the support of Sweden and in partnership with the Presidential Office of the Republic of Moldova.
