Those who failed exams previous years will also not take Baccalaureate exams

The Baccalaureate diploma will be issued to students who failed to pass the exams, university compensatory first-year students and candidates who asked to take the exams externally without taking the Baccalaureate exams. A bill to this effect was approved by the Cabinet at the request of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, IPN reports.

Under the bill, the Baccalaureate diploma that enables the holder to apply to higher or technical post-secondary professional education institutions will be issued to students who failed to pass the exams the previous years, to persons who completed the lyceum program in higher education establishments and to persons who asked to take the Baccalaureate exams externally and completed the lyceum program with annual average grades in school disciplines and the general average grade higher than or equal to “’five”, who registered to take the 2020 Baccalaureate exams within the set timeframes.

The bill is to be examined by Parliament.
