Thirty students caught cheating in specialty Baccalaureate exam

Thirty twelfth graders were caught copying in the June 13 Baccalaureate exam in the specialty subject. Director of the Quality Assurance Agency Anatol Topala said the exam was generally held without major incidents. In the name of the Ministry of Education, he thanked the students and parents for encouraging the authorities in their efforts to combat cheating in exams, IPN reports.

Anatol Topala reminded that the test papers of the students caught cheating are annulled. The head of a Baccalaureate center and several monitors were penalized for not obeying the exam holding methodology.

More than 13,000 students took the exam in the specialty subject. The twelfth graders have two take two more Baccalaureate exams. The next exam, of one’s choice, will be sat on June 17.
