As many as 37 new groups will be opened in the kindergartens of Chisinau in 2014. The announcement was made by the head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb in the annual conference of Chisinau teachers, IPN reports.
“There are over 8,000 applications submitted by parents who want to enroll their children in kindergartens,” said Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb. According to her, there are available places at the kindergartens of Chisinau, but some of the institutions, located in convenient places for parents, are overcrowded.
Over the last four years, there were opened 164 groups.
