Thirty kiosks taken away in Chisinau

The Chisinau City Hall over two weeks removed 30 kiosks that did not work. Several dozen more are yet to be taken away. The subject was discussed in the May 14 meeting of City Hall officials, Info-Prim Neo reports. Twelve kiosks were removed in Botanica district. The district’s head Vladimir Guritsenko said there are another about 40 stalls that do not work. The owners were warned that they should take them away. If they do not comply, the kiosks will be taken down by force. Nine kiosks were dismantled in Buiucani district and another 30 are to be taken away. In Ciocana district, there were removed six stalls and another 18 will be yet removed. Three kiosks were taken down in Rascani district and one kiosk is to be taken away Monday in Centru district. The move was made after Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca instructed removing all the kiosks that do not work or do not meet the legal norms.
