Thirteen children in Chisinau do not go to school

Thirteen children included in the lists of the schools of the municipality of Chisinau do not attend school, the head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said. Asked by Info-Prim Neo, Tverdohleb specified that most of the out of school children are from Ciocana district – seven in number. All the pupils that do not go to school are under the supervision of education officials. They discuss with them, including their parents, so as to convince them to go to school. In another development, Tverdohleb said that the schools of the municipality of Chisinau now need 24 teachers of mathematics, physics and informatics. The situation in kindergartens is more difficult. The municipal nursery schools need 185 educators. Until this weekend, 45 vacancies will be filled by last-year students. The working educators will take over the other posts and work overtime.
