A third customs terminal for processing imports of Moldovan wine to Russia will be opened in Bryansk in the nearest future, as agreed between Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat and his Russian counterpart Dmitri Medvedev at a meeting in Yalta, on the margins of the Summit of CIS heads of state, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a press release from the Moldovan Government, Filat and Medvedev discussed issues related to advancement of economic cooperation, negotiations on an energy and gas supply agreement, and aspects concerning the access of Moldovan wines to the Russian market. The two prime ministers remarked the important role played in furthering economic cooperation by the Joint Moldo-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, and expressed their conviction that at the 13th Commission's meeting and at the concurring Moldo-Russian Business Forum, to take place in Chisinau on November 15 and 16, a favorable background will be created for the resolution of the problems that endure in the economic cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, Filat and Medvedev also exchanged views on humanitarian cooperation. Prime Minister Vlad Filat attended the Summit of CIS heads of state in the Ukrainian resort of Yalta on September 27 and 28.
