The National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History organizes the event “Third Day of Easter at Museum” during the Light Week. On April 18, the Village Museum will host an exhibition and sale of traditional paschal products and handicrafts and a program of Easter worship songs, IPN reports.
The performance of Easter worship songs and folkloric songs will be given by the Choir of the Lyceum Seminary of Orthodox Theology of Chisinau and other parochial choirs of the capital city. The concert will also involve the ensemble “Stefan-Voda” directed by Tudor Ungureanu from Capriana and the folkloric group “Floare de cires” led by Pavel Balaur from Rusestii Noi, Ialoveni, the soloist of the orchestra “Folclor” Viorica Moraru and folk music singers Marina Coptu and Dina Vrajmasu.
The event is held in the yard of the wooden church “Dormition of the Mother of God” between 11am and 3pm. Entrance is free of charge.
