Thieves of scrap iron leave buildings without heating faucets

An apartment building located in Dimo St in Chisinau is not heated because about 70 heating faucets have been stolen there, deputy mayor Vlad Cotet said in Monday’s meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. According to Vlad Cotet, the faucets are made from copper, but the thieves of scrap iron sell them at derisory prices. A building in Buiucani district was also robbed of faucets recently. The cases are being investigated. The thieves have not been yet identified. Another two Chisinau apartment buildings have been disconnected from the heating system as there are carried out adjustment works.
