Unaffiliated municipal councilor Oleg Cernei says the reports that Termocom seeks an increase in the heat charges are not true. In fact, the supplier asked for an adjustment of the charges to the real costs. In the present conditions, this means a reduction of the charge from 821 lei to 809 lei per gigacalorie, said the councilor, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
“There are preconditions for reducing the heat charges. This can happen if the national energy regulator asks for an internal audit report,” Oleg Cernei said in a news conference on Friday, before the ANRE’s meeting.
According to the councilor, the audit report will reveal where it is used the difference between the heat charge set for end-users (821 lei) and the price at which Termocom buys heat from the thermoelectric power plants (520 lei).
Oleg Cernei said SA Moldovagaz should also prepare an internal audit report. According to the councilor, the company’s administration is not sincere with the consumers and sets salaries of over 30,000 lei for some of the employees.
The gas, heat and electricity charges will be discussed by the ANRE on Friday, starting at 16.00.
