The theoretical driving exam will cost 70 lei, as a draft Government decision the public debates on which are over provides. The tariffs for the practical exam were also modified, IPN reports.
The practical exam in categories А, А1, A2, AM, B1 will cost 120 lei, while in the case the vehicle belongs to the driving school - 100 lei, down from the current tariffs of 200 and 150 lei respectively.
For categories В, BE, the tariffs will rise from 200 lei at present (150 lei if the vehicle belongs to the school) to 300 lei (170 lei).
In categories С, C1, СЕ, C1E and in categories D, D1, D1Е, the tariffs will be 320 lei (240 lei if the vehicle belongs to the school) instead of 250 lei (200 lei) now.
Under the draft decision, the tariffs for issuing, changing and restoring the driver’s license will rise from 320 lei for a service provided during 30 working days to 340 lei during 20 days, from 480 lei during 15 days to 680 lei during ten days, from 1,020 lei during five days to 960 lei, etc.
The draft decision is to be examined and approved by the Cabinet.
