Theatre in Budesti

The theatre “Gagalici” presented in premier the performance “Danila Prepeleac”, which has been performed in front of 350 children from Budesti suburban locality, Chisinau municipality. The value of the event is increasing considerably, if to mention the fact that the theatre’s troupe (compound of three actors) is a local one. The troupe is one of the few that activates in the rural area of Moldova. The play “Danila Prepeleac” will be also performed in the following days. The troupe of the theatre has put the performance into play by themselves. The mayor of Budesti commune, Nina Costiuc, declared for Info-Prim Neo that “Gagalici” theatre already presented three performances last year. “Danila Prepeleac” is the fourth one. Nina Costiuc also stated that the access at the performance for the children of the village is free of charge and for the spectators who visit the village the price of a ticket constitutes 10 lei. For the next Sunday the premier of a new performance “Poienita Verde” is scheduled. It is sponsored by the territorial organization of the Ecologist Movement. The entry is free of charge for all spectators. The local mayoralty invited other communes from Chisinau municipality. In this way more children could see this performance, which has the aim to promote the respect for nature. Nina Costiuc added that the activity of the theatre “Gagalici” is possible only after the reorganization of the House of Culture for children and youth, the building were cultural events usually take place, which was operated in 2002 – 2004. The reconstruction works were financed by several German organizations, including the Kaupfunggen town, with which Budesti forms a close friendship. In the centre are organized many out-of-school activities for children inclusively of drawing, good manner lessons, design of clothes, fashion presentations, etc.
