The Public Administration and the Good Governance Program of the Soros-Moldova Foundation announces a contest of technical assistance and consultancy services for the Chisinau City Hall, the mayoralties of the Botanica and Ciocan districts, the Balti Mayoralty and the Mayoralty of the Cahul city in order to modernize and make improve their activity.
As result of this program, will be offered grants for independent experts that will offer consultancies to the pilot institutions on the base of the received solicitations.
The technical and consultancy assistance areas for the Mayoralty of the Chisinau municipality are the financial management, the management of the land fund, reshaping the organisational structure of the Mayoralty and local economic development. The rest of LPA included in the program will benefit of consultancy in the area of human resources, informational management, investment projects etc.
Those who want to participate at the contest will fill in a form placed on the web page of the Foundation or will solicit it at the headquarters of the organization and will present a work plan and other documents indicated in the form. The consultants will collaborate with LPA beneficiary bodies using a flexible time table.
The Foundation’s Jury for Public Administration and Law will provide selecting and approving the experts for each authority according to the internal decision-taking procedures. USD 3000 for a one-year period will be offered.
After naming by the jury, the consultant will coordinate the action plan with beneficiary PLA before signing the grant contract with the Soros-Moldova Foundation.
The activity of the consultants will be supervised and evaluated by an independent expert of the Foundation.
