The Social Investments Fund utilizes 14 million lei in Orhei

14 of the 20 million lei offered by the World Bank, the European Committee and the Government of the Republic of Moldova were utilized to implement different projects of social investments in the communities from the Orhei district. The Social Investmets Fund administrated these investments and the rest of the money will be used during this year. The access to the funds is ensured for 25 villages from Orhei district identified by the Ministry of Economy. Two villages were selected as a result of the research performed by the National scientific Centre of preventive medicine. The money were invested for the renovation of 4 schools from the Orhei district and for the gasification of 6 villages and for the construction of a 9 km of water supply network, opening of a centre for youth and old people. The contribution of the beneficiaries, including the local administration, economic units etc, exceeds 1 million lei.
