The parking of municipality Chisinau may start work on April

Interim mayor of the municipality Chisinau Vasile Ursu required on Monday to persons responsible of the municipal services to end during this month all the activities regarding preparing of the documents necessary for re-starting in April parking activity. During the operative meeting, Vasile Ursu underlined to identify as soon as possible of he places were the carriage could be enlarged of the street perpendicular to the avenue Stefan cel Mare si Sfant, where the parking is supposed, of the payment ways and tax amount for parking, as well as the parking draft. Deputy head of the Architecture and Urbanism Department, Nicon Zaporojan, reported during the Monday meeting that until now there were submitted around 500 offers of building the parking in the centre of the municipality Chisinau on behalf of different organisations and businessmen. It has to be mentioned that Vasile Ursu declared „war” to unauthorised parking in municipality Chisinau, being intrigued by the situation created regarding illegal parking of private transport on pavements, especially in the centre of the city, fact considered as inappropriate in conditions when the pavement is destroyed and there are created incommodities for pedestrians. The actions of local authorities regarding the parking are motivated by the fact that the government shall approve very soon the regulation regarding parking activity.
