The month income of an average Moldovan is less than USD 45

The average month income of the population constituted in the first trimester of this year, 568, 6 lei per person or by 13,6% more than in 2004. At the same time, the consumption expenses raised to 519, 5 lei for one person, increasing by 7, 8% compared to 2004. According to the information of the National Bureau of Statistics, the biggest share of the incomes is accumulated through salaries – 43, 7%, followed by agricultural activity income -20.2% and the individual non-agricultural activities constituted only 3%. The pensions constituted 16, 2% from the total income, other incomes -16, 9%. The biggest share of the consumption expenses constitutes the alimentary products -54, 2%. For dwelling and services were spent average 14,5% of the family budget, for clothes, shoes 7,9%, for transport -3,8%, for health – 3,6%, for communications – 3,4 %, for alcoholic drinks and tobacco – 2,7% etc. On the other hand, the index of the consumption prices in the first trimester of this year increased by 10,6% comparing to the same period of the last year, inclusively for alimentary products by 7,8%, for non-alimentary goods – by 16,1% and for services by 9,3%.
