The Ministry of Defense has already started preparations for the next summer “Medceur 2007” exercise

The “Medceur – 2007” exercises will tale place next summer, at the Training Grounds Bulboaca. It will involve 300 participants representing more than 10 countries. According to the press centre of the Ministry of Defense, the exercise is scheduled for the period from July 28 to August 10, 2007, and will be organized in the spirit of the Partnership for Peace. In order to assure a successful development of ample exercises, the ministry hosts a preliminary conference for planning the multinational exercise “Medceur – 2007”, in which circa 40 representatives of medical services will take part coming from Moldova, USA, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Albania, Macedonia and Kyrgyzstan. As part of this conference, the principles and methods of the preparation of the exercise will be established as well as the problems of logistic insurance, finances etc. The R. of Moldova is selected for the second time to be the host country of a multinational exercise as part of the Partnership for Peace Program. The first operations of this kind “Cooperative Lancer – Longbow 2006” were held in September, 2006.
