The Constitutional Court has revoked the judgements pronounced between June 7 an 9

This Saturday, June 15th, the Constitutional Court revised and revoked all judgements and notices that it approved between June 7 to 9. The meeting was attended by all judges of the CC, IPN reports.

"The basis for the revocation is the current outlook in Moldova, especially the announcement of power transfer to the government led by prime minister Maia Sandu and the coalition formed within the Moldovan Parliament," reads a press release of the Court.

According to the CC, the annulment of the Court judgements passed between 7 and 9 June, the Parliament led by Zinaida Greceanii acquires, ope constitutionis, constitutional status of Parliament; having validated the normative acts adopted by it thus far, and those acts of the government headed by Maia Sandu.

"The Court judgement passed on June 15th, 2019 is intended to be a source of social peace, maintaining the rule of law, democracy, and to ensure an adequate framework for the protection of human rights by combating large-scale political instability" was announced by the CC.

This judgment is final, can not be subjected to appeal, takes effect upon adoption and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
