The capital police found 55 minors, consuming drugs and alcoholic drinks, in three days

During the operation “Care”, held in the capital for 3 days, the police found 55 minors consuming drugs and alcoholic drinks. The head of municipal police, Petru Corduneanu, said that on 6-8 March there were organised a range of measures for preventing and fighting juvenile crime. In this there were checked 124 entertaining rooms, bars, discos, parks, markets, stations, being done 236 reports. The policemen identified 8 minors consuming drugs and 47 drunken children. In the same time, Corduneanu noted, in the night, in internet cafes there were found minors, and other 81 minors were found in the street practicing vagrancy and begging, as well as 5 minors announced previously as disappeared. During the operation “Care”, the policemen submitted 65 reports to commission for minors’ problems within the district offices, 12 minors and 5 families with problems being recorded. The operation was organised according to a special plan in order to undertake measures of fighting the vagrancy, begging and the phenomenon of “street children”, avoiding the traumas during the accidents among minors, stopping drug consumption, toxic many, alcohol abuse and infantile crime.
