The administration council of the Joint Stock Company Moldova-Film was dismissed

The administration council of the Joint Stock Company Moldova-Film was dismissed on Friday, 17 March. The head of the Cinematography Department of the Ministry of Culture, Cristina Butucel, said that the share owner of SA Moldova-Film is the state, who decided to dismiss Valentin Todercan of the position of chairman of the Administration Council, Ion Siman as member of the council and Alecu Vicol as jurist, representative of the state. Cristina Butucel explains the necessity of this dismissal through multiple complaints of the filmmakers on „voluntarism” of the leadership of the administration council and of Valentin Todercan în especially. Thus, at the Ministry of Culture, and in court, there were addressed dozens of complaints regarding unmotivated dismissal, for abuse committed by the Studio Moldova-Film towards the employees. During the extraordinary meeting it was elected the new management of SA Moldova-Film. As representative of the state it was elected the deputy minister of culture, Valeriu Ţurcanu, other two members of the administration council were elected Cristina Butucel and the consultant of the cinematography department Rodica Borzin.
