As they do not have time, the businesspeople often ask the registration to be done as an emergency. 6,398 registrations of companies by such a method were done last year. This is 65% of all the registrations. The entrepreneurs asked that the terms be diversified and further reduced. Thus, the government amended its decision of July 12, 2002, fixing an emergency registration term of four hours. The companies could be registered as an emergency within 24 hours and four hours. The registration fees will be two times and, respectively, four times higher. The fee for registering a private company is now 439 lei, a limited liability company - 811 lei, a joint stock company – 1,009 lei. The price includes the validation of the documents, verification of the company’s name, authentication of the foundation documents and the cost of the stamp. Other modifications introduced to the same decision allow obtaining information from the State Register of Companies and making changes to the foundation documents within four hours, besides the exiting terms of 24 hours and one hour. The fees for providing the givens services within 24 hours, four hours and one hour will be two, four and, respectively, six times higher. The usual fees for such services vary between 36 and 300 lei. The stipulation about the provision of the given services at the client’s place was removed as no such application was submitted.
