Termocom 'will use all legal means' to collect debts

The heat and hot water utility said in a press statement it will use all the means provided by the legislation to recover debts from consumers with long-overdue bills. The utility says that multiple claims are pending before courts to collect debts from consumers, but in most cases the lawsuits are initiated by residential managers, with Termocom being a third party. These claims will not be withdrawn, it insisted. Termocom added that in the future it will take into consideration the suggestions made by the Supreme Court of Justice. Earlier on Friday, Supreme Court of Justice President Mihai Poalelungi stated that courts won't anymore accept claims brought by the utilities Termocom, Apa-Canal Chisinau and Chisinau-Gaz against consumers with overdue bills, unless they have direct agreements with these consumers, and all pending cases will be quashed.
