Termocom urges residents to unclog and repair piping

Termocom is urging managers of residential associations to get involved in efforts to unclog and repair bad pipes in the district heating system, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the utility. Termocom sent relevant requests to 57 residential associations, saying that at least 84 apartment buildings in Chisinau currently needed such intervention. The request comes amid Termocom's preparation campaign for the 2011/2012 heating season. In the press release, Termocom noted that in the previous heating season the overwhelming majority of cases where residents complained about substandard provision of warmth proved to be due to clogged piping within the building, which is the responsibility of residential associations.
