Chisinau’s heat provider Termocom urges residential managers and residents to step up debt payment for heating services in order to avoid a delayed connection to central heating in the following cold period. Presently, 73 residential blocks have paid less than 50%, reports Info-Prim Neo.
According to a communiqué from Termocom, the poor payments level risks the block’s provision with heating for the following cold season. Until now only 64 blocks completely eradicated their debt for the 2011-2012 heating season. 66 blocks have paid around 50%-60%; 176 blocks – 60%-70%; 659 blocks – 70%-80%; 1279 blocks – 80%-90%, and 281 blocks – 90%-100%.
The Termocom administration recalls that heating for the 2012-2013 season depends on the level of payments for energy resources, and in order to avoid lawsuits and forced payment procedures, both of which imply additional expenses for debtors, the latter are urged to settle their debts promptly.
