The Chisinau heat supplier SA Termocom calls upon the end-users who were disconnected from the centralized heating system to obey the law and to make the payments for heat. In a communiqué, the company says that slightly over 50% of the disconnected end-users or 12,000 apartment owners fully paid the heat bills, IPN reports.

Almost 5,000 apartment owners honored their financial obligations partially. Over 7,000 owners of apartments that were disconnected from the heating system or almost 30% didn’t pay the bills.

The end-users disconnected from the centralized heating system before September 2011 will pay 20% of the price of heat for a square meter of apartment from October 1. The payment is made for heating the technical stories, basements and the transitory heating column.

The disconnected apartments owe 6.5 million lei to the heat supplier for the previous heating season.
