Termocom to resume hot water supply in a week

Termocom will resume hot water supply in a week, process currently stopped for some prophylaxis works across distribution networks. The promise was made by the manager of the company Dionisie Antocel, during a visit made by Dorin Chirtoaca, the mayor general of Chisinau, to Termocom’s office. Although the administration of the company stated previously that repairs could not be completed in the water distribution networks because of the 151 million debts, works continued during the mayor’s recent visit. Antocel mentioned that workers operate on a credit basis and the works were simply slowed down and not completely interrupted. Moreover, the administrator of the enterprise mentioned that the lawsuit against the City Hall might be stopped, if the local authorities clear the debts. The mayor promised that the sum of 50 million lei will be paid as a first instalment by the end of the week, into the “Termocom” account. During his visit, the mayor stated that the thermal networks connections for the blocks of flats are in a better state, than the thermal stations managed independently by the residents. “The population enjoys a qualitative service only when the entire network operates in a very well coordinated manner” underlined the mayor. Taking into account the company modernisation works, Dorin Chirtoaca remarked the possibility to install independent thermal centrals in blocks of flats, allowing beneficiaries to control the thermal volume received by each apartment, to connect it to the source whenever needed, as well as to reduce the volume of thermal loss. The administration of the municipal enterprise SA “Termocom” asked the City Hall for further increased investments in thermal isolation mechanisms for blocks of flats, refurbishment works of roofs as well as a change of windows.
