Termocom repays debts to CET-2 and Moldova-Gaz

For the first time, SA Termocom fully repaid the debts to the thermoelectric plant CET-2 and public gas utility Moldova-Gaz before the start of the heating season, Mayor General of Chisinau said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. SA Termocom director Mihai Cernei said the heat supplier now owes money only to the thermoelectric plant CET-1. But it is yet to collect debts of about 80 million lei from consumers. Cernei also said that CET-2 supplies Termocom with a larger volume of electricity than stipulated in the contract. Until recently, Termocom was to pay for the whole amount supplied and share the costs with the population. This time, the company will not accept to pay for a surplus of about 20% of the electric power supplied by CET-2 during 18 days, to the value of 1.5-1.6 million lei. The mayor demanded strictly obeying the supply contracts as the Chisinau residents pay rather high charges and should not be burdened with additional obligations.
