In the period between May 20 and June 20, SA “Termocom” will be carrying out a campaign aimed at collecting the debts for heat from end-users. About 150 employees of the company will be involved in the process, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the company, the employees will visit the apartments with debts and will tell the consumers about the necessity of paying them and about the consequences they may sustain.
If those with debts are unable to repay the debts immediately, they can draw up schedules so as to avoid being sued and incurring additional costs. Representatives of the heat utility will monitor how the schedules are obeyed. If the financial obligations are not fulfilled, the persons with debts will be sued.
The employees who will visit the apartments will obligatorily have a permit, with the name and surname on it. They will provide exhaustive information about the debts and the methods of paying them. The administration of SA “Termocom” calls on the end-users to cooperate and to clear the debts in the shortest time possible.
On May 1, in the municipality of Chisinau there were 81,000 apartments with debts of over 1,000 lei for heat.
