Termocom calls on customers to pay overdue bills

Residential customers in Chisinau who have problems with paying their heat and hot water bills and who haven't concluded debt rescheduling agreements, are urged to pay their overdue bills as soon as possible. Otherwise, they risk being sued by the managers of the residential associations, the utility Termocom warned in a press release, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. The press release notes that after the pronouncement of the court judgment and the issuance of the writ, bailiffs are authorized to impose numerous restrictions on debtors, which remain valid until the full settlement of the debt. Among the restrictions are the impossibility to apply for a passport, or to sell vehicles or immovable property, etc. For example, recently, access to bank cards was suspended to 97 debtors, and 37 other debtors risk being subjected to travel restrictions, as requested by bailiffs this week. Termocom stresses that by paying bills on time customers will avoid both legal suits and court enforcement proceedings.
