Termocom's bank accounts remain frozen due to debt, the heat utility's director Mihail Cernei told the City Hall's ordinary meeting on Monday, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The accounts were blocked after the gas operator Moldovagaz sued Termocom over earlier debts. “Today a total of 140 million on our accounts are frozen, 100 million at Banca de Economii and 40 million at Victoriabank”, said Mihail Cernei.
Besides earlier debts, the director says the company has problems paying its current liabilities owed to the suppliers, which have been paid in a proportion of only 52%: 366 million out of 705 million lei.
Also, Mihail Cernei says that the utility is looking for solutions to pay salaries to its employees, especially since Termocom is going to celebrate its 45th anniversary tomorrow, March 1.
