The candidate of "People's Will" („Voința Poporului”) Political Party, Teodor Cârnaț, has been registered by the Electoral Council of Chisinau Municipal Electoral Constituency (CECEC) as candidate for the position of general mayor and will be listed third in the ballot, IPN reports.
The candidate announced on his Facebook page that staring from the moment of registration he entered the election campaign.
"I am an independent political leader. Since 1989 I have been striving for the defence and promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms, which constitute the foundation of any rule of law. I believe that when the civil servant respects the law, people thrive”, declared the candidate.
Ion Ceban (PSRM) and Andrei Donică ("Speranţa - Надежда" Professionals Movement) are on the first two positions of the ballot.
