The tenure of the three Moldovan clerks at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has been extended for a year, IPN reports, quoting amendments made to an earlier Government decision.
Acting Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim said the jurists’ work was highly appreciated by the ECHR registrar Erik Fribergh in an official document sent to the Ministry of Justice.
The decision to delegate three clerks at the Registry of the ECHR to provide assistance in examining the applications filed to the Court against Moldova was taken on May 12, 2012. The clerks were selected at a contest.
