Tennis player Maxim Dubarenco returns with trophy from Italy

Moldovan tennis player Maxim Dubarenco won the prestigious international juniors’ tournament „Citta’ Di Santa Croce Mauro Sabatini”. The competition ended on Sunday, May 15, in Italy, Info-Prim Neo reports. On his way to the final, Dubarenco bested opponents from Germany, Italy and Croatia. In the final, the 17 year old clearly defeated Serbia’s Nikola Milojevic, 6-2, 6-2. As a result, Maxim is now ranked among the top 30 young tennis players in the world. This is Dubarenco’s second trophy in 2011, after winning the Dimitrie Sturdza tournament in Chisinau.
