The tender contest to buy 100 buses for the municipality of Chisinau is expected to be launched this week. The specifications are to be approved by the technical working group on July 14, in its last meeting, deputy mayor Victor Chironda was quoted by IPN as saying in the ordinary meeting of municipal services.
“Last week, we had a series of meetings and agreed all the aspects. We aim to have a transparent tender contest and thus need explicit specifications,” stated the official.
Earlier, in a Facebook posting mayor general Ion Ceban said the process of procuring units of transport will take place in two stages. A number of 100 buses will be bought at the first stage and another 150 buses will be acquired at the second stage.
